Dear Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Takashi Kawano, and it is my great honor to serve as the chairperson of the 29th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care. The meeting will be held over two days, July 4 (Friday) and July 5 (Saturday), 2025, at the Kochi-City Culuture Plaza CUL-PORT .
The theme of this year's meeting is "Advancements in Neuroanesthesia and Brain Health." Neuroanesthesia has seen remarkable progress in recent years as a vital technology ensuring patient safety and comfort. In addition, significant new findings and therapeutic approaches are being reported to maintain and enhance brain health. This meeting aims to share the latest research findings and clinical experiences in these areas to drive further advancements in medical technology.
Our society has a long history and tradition of pioneering cutting-edge knowledge and techniques in the fields of neuroanesthesia and critical care. At this esteemed platform, we plan to focus on three key topics:
- The latest advancements and applications in neuroanesthesia
- New insights and therapeutic approaches to brain health
- Strengthening multidisciplinary collaboration and fostering young researchers
Through these themes, we aspire to enhance knowledge and techniques in our specialty while nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Kochi Prefecture, the host location of this meeting, is renowned for its breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, historical landmarks such as Kochi Castle and the Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Museum, and its delicious local cuisine. We hope you will take the opportunity to experience the many charms of Kochi during your stay.
